When we first began piecing together footage for The Road to the Show 4 years ago, the player we focused on was Brian Dinkelman, then with the Ft. Myers Miracle, the High A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins. We caught up to him 2 years ago when, while with the Twins AA team, Brian was invited to the Twins spring training as non-roster invitee. Although after spring training concluded Brian went back to AA, later that season he was promoted to AAA where he played for the majority of 2 seasons. Towards the end of the 2011 season, Brian go the call - he was going to The Show. What you'll see in this video is an example of what our show is about - following someone on their journey from the farm teams to the major leagues. Brian is a perfect example of that story but there's lots more out there.
